Fantastic service, atmosphere, food and drink! Front and back patios and a biergarten. Sam was particularly friendly and generous. Server successfully helped my friend with diet restrictions. Food is a little pricey, but that's what you pay for high quality.

In the summertime you can find me on the private patio in the "beer garden." Picnic tables or cushioned chairs are available with umbrellas over the tables for the day and lighted heaters on cool nights. No need to go inside for a drink, there is an outdoor bar and appetizer menu available so you can enjoy every moment of summertime outdoors.

This restaurant is the epitome Burlington, VT. The menu consists of locally sourced ingredients and craft brews. I ordered the Misty Knoll Free Range Turkey, replacing the buns with sauteed kale for an additional charge, and chose the house salad as a side. Everything was well prepared and seasoned! The salad was crisp with just enough dressing to coat. The turkey burger wasn't dry and you could taste the blue cheese throughout the patty.

Solid beer selection, including many great locals (highly recommend the Edward and the Susan by Hill Farmstead). Attentive service by knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed perfectly cooked medium rare Angus beef burger with side salad. Sat at bar (traveling solo for work) but the outdoor deck/patio and downstairs bar looked inviting. Next time!

Since my friend and I came relatively early, the restaurant did not put the specials out until we were done with the meal in preparation for the dinner hours. I should have asked for the specials as I would have tried one of those dishes, but would happily come back to this establishment when I am back in the area.

The Farmhouse is a great restaurant with great food. Every time I have gone, I had the Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger, and it is exquisite. The food is always cooked perfectly and the staff is friendly. It is usually busy for dinner, so you'd have better luck for lunch. If you're in Burlington and don't mind a tad pricy meal, the Farmhouse is the place to go.

Sitting in a cozy corner with the faint smell of wood smoke and the warmth of the fireplace blanketing me, dark wood benches and tables stretched out before me with people sitting and chatting. Perhaps a piece of my favorite garlic, blue cheese, and honey toast on a plate before me, or the most delicious cheddar ale soup to ever grace my lips. Many great beer discoveries have been made here as I often find beers I have seen nowhere else. This is my favorite wintertime place.

This review is for my visit on 10/29/17 for dinner.
