First, we sat down and were greeted by an employee providing free Cider tasting for us to sample a little bit of their best cider, which was VERY helpful for someone like me, who is more versed in beer as opposed to hard cider.
This place was awesome! We walked in and were greeted by friendly staff and seated ourselves. The only qualm I had with this entire experience was that there wasn't nearly enough seating in the place, but they were able to accommodate our group of 4 comfortably.
Absolutely excellent ciders and superb meals! Everything we had was delicious. I am well versed in ciders, and these were among the best I've ever had. If you visit VT during the cold winter months I highly suggest the stew and the Americran cider! Very fresh! A definite stop that you should make.
Something about cider on draught make it SO much better. Chef Bryan is a awesome dude cooking up some good ass foods to go with that cider.
We then took our seats once more, where staff provided us with water immediately. We ordered 2 flights of 4 to sample and split them between the 4 of us, it was very enjoyable despite not being huge on cider. We had eaten prior to entering, but the menu had so many options that were overly tempting (the pretzel with beer cheese, for example - yum!).
Really great selection of cider and delicious food with gigantic portion. Try the tasting palette with 5 cider. I didn't know I liked cider this much before I tasted all of their different offering.
Of you like gluten free this is where it's at most of the menu is gluten free all the ciders most of the food (even the fryer which is unusual for most kitchens in the area)
This place has good ciders but some unethical employees which is why I only gave them 1 star and will not be back. I went in and ordered some flights between my group. All was fine and I did enjoy most of the ciders but when the bill came they gave me a receipt for one amount but then charged my card for a different higher amount (it was not a difference in tip). My group was in a rush and I did not notice at the time. I considered disputing the charge with the credit card company because I am pretty sure that is illegal but it ended up being $7 so I don't want to waste my time on it. Posting this on here as a warning to others. It might not be the business themselves but they have some shady employees and I would not go back and am deterring people I know from going.
