Josh was our bartender and he was AMAZING! We had a tasting and then stayed for a cocktail. The spirits are delicious and the drinks are tastefully made. Josh was very helpful in explaining their spirit making process and also sharing his favorite places in the area. I would highly recommend stopping in for a sip!
They have a variety of local (Vermont made) spirits to sample (for a price)....the bartender/host I had was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and schools you on each product you've chosen to try. I ended up buying two of their products..if you buy, they won't charge for the tasting. I would definitely check them out. I'm quite fond of their Revolution Rye....not cheap, but darned tasty!
My husband and I sat down to have a drink. I decided on the mini cocktail flight which was genius! I had the Bloody Mary, rum punch, and manhattan. The Bloody Mary was spicy and delicious! It was full of horseradish flavor and well balanced. The rum punch was fruity and delicious! It was not super sweet and utilized mad river rums. The rums are bold and flavorful!! The manhattan was perfectly balanced and smooth!
This place was so awesome! I am huge into mixology and I wanted to buy everything! They had about 50 kinds of bitters, Moroccan, smoked chili oil bitters, and even teapot bitters which are hard to find.
Amazing cocktails! Very complex and delicious combinations. I would highly recommend stopping in to grab some local booze! Staff was friendly and you could tell that they truly enjoy what they do.
The window display and entrance is a little uneven with the rest of the space -- we thought it was just a store front until we walked in further. Note: they do not serve food there.
Quick service with really cool drinks. Has a very warm and earthy vibe. Would love to go again.
