Enjoyed traveling sans motor with sails aloft until wind died. Captain O gave a good speel about the history and geology of Lake Champlain and with mate K-dub manning (womaning?) the lines we got a good primer in sailing. 3-year old Jude was anxious to find the treasure while the rest of us kept an eye out for Champ, the monster of the Lake. Gentle seas, calm weather made for an enjoyable 2 hour ride. We didn't need the jackets we hauled aboard. Lots of fun.
What a wonderful experience on the Friendship on Lake Champlain. Captain O and Wingman Evan was simply awesome. We had a history lesson on Lake Champlain, good company and spectacular views. We're glad we made the decision to take a smaller boat instead of the larger boat.
Great way to experience Burlington from the water. Bring some wine and snacks- bundle up in the fall. So fun to hear some local history too- thanks for the memories!

Comfortable, beautiful sail with stunning views of Burlington and Green Mountains. Captain O and Firstmate Wing were lovely shipmates, regaling us with the rich history of the area. They let folks who wanted to steer the boat and had jackets at the ready when it got chilly. Plenty of space, stable ride, great company, phenomenal views!
