Very un reliable bussing service. Busses often do not show up. Busses have been over 2 hours late on routes that run every 15 minutes. Ccta does not awnser their phones for questions.
When I lived back east in Burlington, VT I loved CCTA. Very small city but good bus service. It would have been nice to have a "night Bus" though for those of us who had to work late. Now in California the service is much worse, so be glad for Vermont and CCTA.
Buses are clean, so that’s above average as far as most public transportation goes. Except they’re always super late, sometimes over fifteen minutes, which I wouldn’t mind if this wasn’t Vermont and it wasn’t 20° on an average day. Some of the drivers are great and super friendly but quite a few very clearly have absolutely no clue what they’re doing, and once one of them actually had her route confused with another similar one and basically ushered me off after demanding to know where I was going as I stepped on. She was literally going exactly where I needed to be. So decent, but you guys can seriously do better.
We have one of the best bus systems I have ever used. Buses are on time and very frequent for a small city.
The bus I use (#5 Pine St.) is often late and often just does not show up at all. It has been this way for years going both to and from work.
