After the City of Burlington zoning dept fined her mother the previous owner of Golden Place 163,000 dollars for violations by the City of Burlington. Did Maria collect a million dollar policy on poor George , one of the residents with her brother underwriting life insurance policies in Conn. on Golden Place residents and make a huge donation to the City coffers in order to avoid the permit process all together? My My My....money does talk lately in Burlington doesn't it? First the mall owner gets to do whatever the City of Burlington would like him to do with lots of money and now the Richardsons using federal income from social security and state money in cash rent donations they call it and collecting on residents life insurance policies can do what they wish in regards to Burlington's permit process! Why even bother to have a permit process in the first place if your gonna play favorites and disriminate against a poor asian guy! Is the city of Burlington racist? It does make you wonder just how sane the City of Burlington zoning really is these days in regards to city of Burlington zoning and new construction doesn't it? Guess donations to the City coffers to help with the City employee retirement fund that ended up missing goes along way especially in the zoning dept!

The Planning and Zoning Dept is a farce, its illegal enforcement and it plays favorites with certain citizens in the City of Burlington VT! Major new construction on a busy street such as Shelburne Road zoned for business and residential and NO Permit for Construction posted! My guess is it was never applied for in the first place! Disgusting how Miro and the city employees use their own personal assessment of certain businesses to either run people out of the city of Burlington or keep them in business for profit of their own! Its a disgussting system with no real standards of regulation for zoning! I think thats called corruption and illegal bribary!
