Coffee is adequate, but not great. Food and baked goods are poor. Sandwiches are pre-made and cold in the middle when warmed up. Muffaletta really isn't a muffaletta, though flavor is good regardless, and much healthier than a typical muffaletta. Turkey cranberry sandwich is served on a bread that shouldn't be toasted -- crust hardens to almost crouton consistency. Irish oatmeal is adequate, but not noteworthy.
Recommended if you feel like sitting and working for a few hours in the late morning or afternoon, nursing a coffee. Has a good vibe for that. I wouldn't go for any other experience.
Trendy cafe. Decently priced typical breakfast food. Nothing that knocked my socks off but solid place if u dont want to wait to eat
It's very difficult to find seating on weekends, despite the size of the place, due to many long stay customers. We came on a Sunday and initially couldn't find a single table, though staff had filled one of the few four-seater tables with misc signs and leftover food.
The egg mishmash dishes are delicious - I recommend the vegetarian version with multigrain bread. Open, casual atmosphere in the back where computer users camp out. Great service but a little confusing ordering in two different lines.
Awesome atmosphere and great food choices. My daughter didn't want to eat the last bite of her Maple cupcake because then it would be gone
Recently had a very poor experience with baked goods and service - I asked for a warm sticky bun and the person taking my order seemed reticent to warm it up, telling me it was still warm from the oven. I took it to my table, found it was hard and dry on the outside and room temp all the way through. I thought warming up would help with the dryness, so took back to counter to ask to be warmed up. They told me they can't warm items which have already been eaten. Although this is an acceptable policy, they should have offered me a fresh, warmed bun, but they didn't. I asked them to just throw it out. Wasn't worth the calories in it.
Very tasty sandwiches with lots of interesting flavors. The vegan and vegetarian sandwiches actually turned out to be better than grilled chicken sandwich. The service was pretty quick, the staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. The price is a bit high but the ambiance is nice.
