Kara is an amazing realtor. My husband and I recently closed on our first home, our dream house, and I don't think we would have gotten it if it wasn't for Kara. Being new to the whole process we didn't have a clue what we were doing, but Kara walked us through every step. She took us around to a handful of houses when we were in town (we moved to Burlington from out of state) and was honest about the pros and cons of each of them -- it was clear she wasn't just trying to "get a sale".
The home I bought was a small condo so she doesn't reserve great work for big deals only.
Lastly she was just fun to work with. Easy going and down to earth but also very professional. I really cant say enough how much I enjoyed working with her.

Kara helped me find a home that was a perfect fit for me. I had my mind set on a condo still outside of town, but she helped me find a large townhouse a little further out that is much nicer, almost twice the size, and feels like a private home. She was not pushy at all, and supported me as I changed my mind back and forth over time. She even cut down on her compensation to avoid the seller asking for a higher price from me! I will definitely contact Kara again when I go for my next home with a grand mountain view :)

When an amazing house in downtown Burlington popped up from our search criteria, after we had already left town, Kara took my husband's parents to see it. We saw their pictures and loved it, and decided to put in an offer. Being an amazing house in downtown Burlington, though, there were already two offers and an open house scheduled. Kara went to the open house (by herself and without any prompting from us) and schmoozed the sellers. They were a young couple with a kid and had put a lot of work into their house to make it a great place for kids to grow up. Kara told them that we were also a young couple with a kid, and because of that they ended up accepting our offer, at the asking price! Had she not gone to that open house I honestly don't know if we would have gotten it. It was because of her willingness to go above and beyond that we landed our dream home.
I cant overstate how capable, diligent and fun Kara was to work with. I'm the first person to be skeptical of rave reviews but the truth is Kara is simply fantastic.
