Produce leaves a lot to be desired. Many items higher priced than other stores. Finally selected 'salad in a bag' for lunch. Got home to find brown edges. Tomatoes were red but hard, and loaf of bread was already stale. All things purchased were within their sell by date.
What a bunch of BS. Shaw's, here I come.

Continued changes in the product line up make this store unreliable. Many items have been discontinued as the Dutch firm that bought Hanny's moves the product line to higher margin goods. And here's something from their own website:

Since they removed several lanes for replacement self-checkouts the wait is much longer and much more frustrating. The self-checkouts are good if you have staff there to monitor it, but you don't, so the system flakes out and requires help or you need to check ID and then you wait for someone to come over from another area to reset the system to allow you to continue to checkout. It simply takes too long and takes away from the automation. The staff is very nice and the store is great but you have to fix the self checkouts situation. One staff member for 4 units should increase the speed you get people through the store; which is what people want.
