We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We really liked the location the best. Being just off the beach, access right into the bike trail, so many things to do in Burlington. The staff was friendly when we interacted with them, bathrooms were clean, shower was hot, good place to stay.

Our first visit here, we stayed 3 nights over a weekend. As quiet as a campground can be while a busy jazz festival is going on a mile away. Clean bathrooms tho the toilet tissue kept running out. Hot water and good pressure in the showers. Power at our campsite, water spigots nearby. Best part? The new bike trail into town. 10 minutes to Myers Bagels every morning....yum!

Easy enough to get to but right in front of the high school. Check-in was simple. Sites are small. Electrical boxes are doubled up. Had to borrow a dogbone from the office. So far it's nice enough. Pretty place. Friendly staff. Other campers... there's some here that have little patience and even less sense.

I've been going there for the last 10 years because of the location and easy access to the beach, bike trail and downtown. Having said that, it needs some maintenance like getting rid of the million of bugs and huge spiders in the bathroom, replace the rusty rack for the only sink they have to do dishes. They also need to sacrifice some sites in order to allow people more space between sites. Too close to each other, listening to other people's conversation and have no privacy.

This is a city campground so it has it's upsides and downsides. Up: Best spot around Burlington (far from the roads and buildings but a 10 min bike ride to the city), amazing beach, bike/walk trail, nice staff, kayak rental. Down: yes it wasn't the cleanest campground but definitely not something that bothered me. And at least in my section the campsites were closely spaced but I have had the greatest neighbors so I was actually glad about it.
